A Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden Event
February 18 - 20, 2011

Key West was bankrupt in 1934 when “New Deal” support began creating a world-class botanical wonderland on Stock Island, showcasing the Keys as America’s tropical isles. Having opened in February 1936, the Garden celebrates its 75th birthday with Gardenfest 2011 kicking off the events.
Plants for every size home and garden will be offered along with nature-themed arts, crafts and merchandise. A “Beer Garden” food court, prize drawings and more add to the festivities.
