A Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden Event
Gardenfest Key West
February 19 - 21, 2010
An Expanded Gardenfest Key West blends Nature with Art.
Lionesses taking down a water buffalo, something akin to a giant spider web spanning a lake, and other Sculpture Key West entries inspired broadening this annual plant lovers’ event to include nature-themed art and products.
Restoring a fresh water habitat where a soggy parking lot once sprawled expanded this historic site’s ability to host public events. Less confined exhibit spaces with water vistas welcome twice as many vendors as ever before. Plants for every size home and garden will be offered along with nature-themed arts, crafts and merchandise. An outdoor café, prize drawings, instructive demonstrations and informative lectures make it worth visiting each day.
