A Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden Event

LIVE Panther & Gator Show

Saturday, April 10

On Saturday April 10th the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden will host its second series of events for Migration Mania! Migration Mania is a month long series of educational family activities, speakers, games, presentations, crafts, and animal encounters that fosters an appreciation of wildlife, flora, and fauna in the lower Florida Keys!

The theme for Saturday April 10th is "The Great Live Panther & Gator Show." Families can make their own hand lens at the "Bug Magnifying Glass Station" to use to examine creatures throughout the garden. Families can select one of many wildlife tattoos and learn about the characteristics of each animal at the "Wildlife Tattoo Station." Children can also enjoy bring out the beast inside of them, by bouncing in the 15 x 15 bounce house donated by Nedintobounce.com.

At 10:30 The Everglades Outpost Wildlife Refuge will take the stage with a live jungle animal presentation. Families will have a chance to interact with various animals such as alligators and crocodiles, exotic lizards, venomous snakes as well as a live Florida Panther!

At 11:30 the Key West Wildlife Center will conduct a presentation on raptors. This presentation will be educational and highly interesting.

Finally at 12:30 families will work together to decipher clues, answer questions, and collect the designated items to win prizes during the "Great Family Scavenger Hunt!" Prizes will include a Fury sunset sail cruise for 4, tickets to the Key West Aquarium and family prize baskets!

Food, beverages, coconut drinks, and treats will be available so families can picnic in the lush tropical setting!

Meet us at the Key West Botanical Garden for a beastly good time!
